Treating OCD in Children & Teens
Facilitated Consultation Group for licensed therapists and California post-doctoral fellows working with children and adolescents with OCD. Share and learn with other therapists in a confidential, safe space.
Share cases and questions with a community of therapists
Discuss challenging issues
Support one another
Learn more about evidence-based treatments such as Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) with young people.
Explore developmental issues and implementation strategies unique to treating children and adolescents

Some experience in CBT and treating OCD

Dr. Julie L. Lustig
Founder and Director of the CBT Tools for Life Center
Working with children and teens and consulting for over 25 years
Extensive training and experience treating and teaching treatment of pediatric OCD (including training through the IOCDF Pediatric BTTI)
Adjunct Faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Child Development
Supervises pre-doctoral interns in the Stanford-Children’s Health Council Pre-Doctoral Internship Program
Offers 1:1 and Group Consultation for professionals working with children, adolescents, young adults and parents
Passionate about fostering mental health in children and teens and supporting professionals interested in working with youth
Alternate Mondays starting:

4 meetings @ 90 minutes each
Initial 15-minute free individual meeting between August 26th - September 12th, 2025
Consultation Group meets Alternate Mondays @ 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time/PST)

GROUP FORMAT:
90-minute group meetings
Each meeting will include:
Two Case Presentations/Questions or Challenges
Brief Final Discussion and Wrap Up
Each of the 4 participants will get to present 2 cases/questions or challenges
MATERIALS:
List of Resources related to pediatric OCD
Additional articles or materials as relevant throughout the group.
COST:
Initial individual 15-minute meeting is free.
$90.00 per session, 4-meeting commitment
$360.00 - advance payment for all 4 meetings

You can also go to “www.CBTToolsforLife.com“ client portal login.” Click on “New Client” and a HIPAA-secure calendar will appear where you may request a “Professional Initial Inquiry OCD Consultation Group 15-Minute Consultation - No Charge.” Once a time is requested, you’ll receive a brief form to complete and submit through the secure system.

Dr. Lustig will review the form. If appropriate to move forward with an initial brief meeting, Dr. Lustig will confirm the free 15-minute video meeting.

This video meeting is designed for Dr. Lustig to provide additional information and answer questions about the group, and for the therapist and Dr. Lustig to determine if the group is a good fit.

It is strongly recommended that participants attend the first group meeting.
Participants are encouraged to attend all 4 group meetings. If unable to attend all 4 meetings, participants may not get to present 2 cases. There will be no refunds for missed meetings.

Payment is simple through HIPAA-secure SimplePractice and will be made online by credit card in advance for all 4 meetings. An invoice may be provided upon request.
